In striving to achieve our goals, we never want to lose sight of the way to achieve them. Thus, our goals are also our principles.

  • juslingua.ch is open to interpreters and translators who provide legal and/or official language services full-time or part-time, as permanent employees or freelancers to or at a public authority, a court, the police, judicial authorities, law firms, agencies, etc.
  • juslingua.ch represents the interests of its members in public as well as before authorities, the police, courts and clients and acts for the benefit of all, not the individual.
  • juslingua.ch is committed to reasonable fees and a fair social position of its members.
  • juslingua.ch attaches great importance to professional ethics and professionalism and wishes its members professional pride.
  • juslingua.ch promotes professional and social exchange among interpreters and translators and actively supports the network concept.
  • juslingua.ch is committed to raising its profile and to enshrine the name “Swiss Association of Court Interpreters and Translators”
  • juslingua.ch helps clients to find qualified interpreters and translators and thus helps its members to obtain assignments. The agency juslingua AG assumes this task by means of professional organisational structures whilst acting as an active market participant.
  • juslingua.ch is aware of the value of education and training and therefore offers a wide range of events in cooperation with authorities, the police, judicial authorities, courts and associated professional associations.
  • juslingua.ch supports its members with concrete working aids and discounts.

Auditors

The auditors of juslingua.ch are members of the association elected by the general assembly. They undertake the ordinary audit on a yearly basis and advise the management board on financial matters.

Communication

juslingua.ch focuses on efficiency and handles all association correspondence, accounting etc. via e-mail. Similarly, all information regarding the association is only available in electronic form on this website.

Statutes

At juslingua.ch the statutes are not deemed a mere dusty piece of paper, but the binding guidelines in all areas of association’s life and for all of the association’s activities.

Translations (written)

of official documents such as certificates, deeds, court rulings, civil registry certificates, land register entries, contracts, extracts from commercial registers, balance sheets etc.

Thanks to the accreditation of our translators, we are capable of having all translations certified by a notary and, if need be, obtain the corresponding apostille for use of your translated document abroad.

Interpreting services (oral)

for meetings of legal relevance, notarial authentications, civil matters, arbitration proceedings, administrative proceedings, in dealing with authorities, medical and psychological assessments (in particular for the disability insurance (IV) and the Swiss SUVA), in dealing with impaired driving declarations and aptitude tests, etc.

Thanks to the accreditation of our interpreters, we are authorised to work for all institutions.
